About Us
Our journey started in 1996 as Ria Tuition, a tuition centre for primary and secondary students in Penampang, Sabah. For almost 20 years, we provided quality, affordable tuition to students looking to improve their grades in school.
In 2014, we moved to Taiping, Perak and pivoted to providing products and services to schools. We are today known as Ria Enterprise (also known as Ria SS Enterprise), a Malaysian company specializing in the sales and production of Angklung (as well as other traditional musical instruments), music-related teaching resources and music-related consultancy for schools and premises.
Our Team
YM Raja Iza Akhmar (Pak Radja)
Pak Radja is a veteran music educator and Angklung expert, with a career as government teacher and lecturer spanning over 40 years. He wrote many of the books and sheet music that we sell today.
Stephany Sompud
The wife of Pak Radja, Stephany is also an educator, having served as an English primary school teacher in Sabah for 10 years before founding the company.
